The QR code doesn't work

When a QR code cannot be scanned in 4planning, there can be several causes. Below are the most common problems and solutions.

The QR code is hard to see

A QR code has to be clearly visible to scan properly.

  • Increase the device's screen brightness.
  • Make sure the QR code is fully visible.
  • Avoid reflections or bright sunlight.

A damaged or blurry screen

A damaged screen or a low resolution can make scanning difficult.

  • Have the visitor open the QR code again.
  • Use a different device if needed.

A screenshot of the ticket

A screenshot sometimes works less well than the original ticket.

  • Ask the visitor to open the ticket or membership card directly in the app or browser.

The scanner's camera is not working properly

Check that the camera is working.

  • Clean the lens.
  • Check the camera settings.
  • Give permission to use the camera in the browser or app.

Poor internet connection

The scanner needs a stable internet connection.
