Logging in to a scanner to scan tickets

To scan tickets during an event you first have to log in to a ticket scanner. You can do this easily on a phone or tablet.

Step 1: Open the scanner

A ticket scanner is started through a unique link or QR code.

1. Go to the event in question and click Edit.
2. Open the Ticket scanners section.
3. Click View next to the scanner you want.

You now see a QR code and a link.

• Scan the QR code with the device you want to use.
• Or copy the link and open it in a browser.

Step 2: Log in (without a QR code)

1. Open the link belonging to the scanner. Once the scanner opens you are asked to log in.

• Enter the scanner's username and password.
• Click or tap Log in.

After logging in you can start scanning tickets straight away.

• Use the device's camera.
• Scan the QR code on the ticket or membership card.
• The scanner automatically checks whether the ticket is valid by showing a green screen. If the ticket is not valid you see a red screen.

• Make sure you have a stable internet connection.
• Test the scanner before the event.
• Use several scanners when it is busy.
