What happens when a bar shift is full?

Updated on

Is a bar shift fully staffed? You can still sign up through the waiting list.

When is a bar shift full?

A bar shift is full when the maximum number of people needed has been reached. The staffing then shows, for example, 3 / 3.

What can you still do?

Even when a shift is full, you have an option:

  • Join the waiting list You are added to the queue for this bar shift.

What happens next?

  • Does a place open up? Then you can still be added
  • This can happen automatically or through an administrator
  • You then receive a confirmation of your sign-up

For administrators

Administrators can:

  • Add members from the waiting list to the bar shift
  • Adjust the staffing (opening extra places, for example)

Why this is useful

  • Open places are filled quickly
  • Less chance of being short-staffed
  • Flexibility around changes

Tip

Join the waiting list if you are available. Often a place does still open up 👍
