Setting the number of people needed
Decide per bar shift how many people are needed and make sure it is properly staffed.
How does it work?
When creating or editing a bar shift you set the number of people needed.
- State how many people are needed for the shift
- This determines how many places are available to sign up for
What does that mean in practice?
- Members can sign up until the maximum is reached
- Staffing is shown as, for example: 0 / 3
- Is the shift full? Then members can join the waiting list
Changing the number
You can change the number of people needed at any time:
- Increase → extra places become available
- Decrease → the staffing is adjusted (take care with members already scheduled)
Why this matters
- It ensures enough staffing during bar shifts
- It prevents over- or under-staffing
- It gives members clarity
Tip
Match the number of people needed to how busy it will be or the type of activity. That way you avoid having too few or too many people scheduled 👍
