Reading the sponsor report
The sponsor report shows, per sponsor, what their logo did over a period: how many tickets it was on, how many visitors came in at those events, how often it was shown and how often it was clicked. Handy to send along with a renewal proposal. The report is available to sponsor managers and administrators.
Step 1: Open the report
- Open a sponsor and click Sponsor report at the top.
- Or go to renewing a sponsor: there you find a link to the report for the past period, plus Download PDF.
Step 2: Choose the period
By default it is the sponsor's contract period, up to today. If the sponsor has no start date, it is the current season from 1 August. Choose another From and Until and click Show. Download PDF gives you the same report as a file.
What the counters mean
- Tickets with your logo – how many ticket PDFs were created with this sponsor's logo in the Ticket Studio design. Each ticket counts once, even if the buyer downloads it more often.
- Visitors checked in at those events – how many tickets were scanned at the entrance, at the events where their logo was on the ticket. This is the only counter that counts people.
- Clicks to your website – how often their logo was clicked, in emails, on the dashboard, on the sponsor page, on event pages and on the ticket page. Only for a sponsor with a website filled in.
- Impressions – how often a page with their logo was shown, per location: Ticket page (the public page where visitors buy tickets), Event page, Sponsor page and Dashboard. The same person looking twice counts twice.
- Emails sent with your logo – how many sent emails had their logo in the footer. Previews don't count.
Under the impressions it says: "In emails and on the dashboard, all sponsors appear together." A high number there is therefore not exclusive attention for this sponsor.
The rest of the report
- Events with your logo on the ticket – per event the date, how many tickets were sold and how many were checked in.
- At the club in this period – the total number of events and matches with ticket sales and the visitors checked in at all events, for comparison.
- Per month – a table and chart of impressions, emails, clicks and tickets.
"Measured since"
At the bottom it says Measured since with a date: the first day anything was counted at your club. There are no figures from before then. If the period starts earlier, the report for those first months is empty, not zero. If it says "There are no measurements in this period yet", nothing has been counted in the chosen period.
What is not measured
4planning only counts numbers per day. No people or IP addresses are recorded and there is no tracking pixel in the email. That is why it says "emails sent", not "opened" or "read". Search engines, link checkers and 4planning's own administrators are not counted.
Frequently asked questions
Why is Tickets with your logo at 0? The logo isn't in the ticket design. Add it with Sponsors invoegen in Ticket Studio.
Why are there few clicks? Check whether the sponsor has a website filled in. Without a website the logo isn't clickable.
Can I email the report to the sponsor from 4planning? No, download the PDF and send it yourself.
