Creating a poll
Klik om te laden — er wordt pas dan verbinding met YouTube gemaaktA poll in 4planning lets you easily gather members' opinions or preferences. This is useful for planning activities, making choices or gauging interest.
Step 1: Go to Polls
- Log in to your 4planning environment.
- Click Communication in the menu.
- Then click Polls.
Step 2: Create a new poll
- Click New poll or the plus icon.
You are now in the screen for creating a poll.
Step 3: Enter the question
Enter the poll question. Make sure it is clear and specific so members can respond easily.
Step 4: Add answer options
- Add one or more answer options.
- Repeat until all the choices are filled in.
Members can later select one of these options.
Step 5: Set up languages
You can write the poll in several languages. Add the question and answer options per language.
Members automatically see the poll in the language set in their profile.
Step 6: Set visibility
Decide which groups may see and answer the poll.
- All members
- Specific groups
When you choose specific groups, select one or more of them.
Step 7: Publish
- Check the question, answer options and audience.
- Click Publish.
The poll is now visible to the selected users.
Tips for effective use
- Use short, clear questions.
- Limit the number of answer options to keep things readable.
- Use polls to increase engagement within your organisation.
Good to know
- Users only see polls they have access to.
- Results are updated the moment members vote.
- The poll language follows the user's own language settings.
