Deleting a news item

You can delete a news item when it is no longer relevant or was created by mistake. This article explains how to delete a news item step by step.

Step 1: Go to News

1. Log in to your 4planning environment.
2. Click Communication in the menu.
3. Then click News.

Step 2: Open the news item

1. Find the news item you want to delete in the overview.
2. Click the news item to open its detail page.

Step 3: Delete the news item

1. Click Delete news item in the top right.

Step 4: Confirm

A confirmation message appears.

1. Click Confirm to delete the news item permanently.

The news item is deleted immediately and is no longer visible to users.

Tips for effective use

• Always check that you are deleting the right news item.
• Use clear titles for news items so you can find them again easily.
• Consider editing an item instead of deleting it when the information is still relevant.

Good to know

• Deleting a news item cannot be undone.
• Users are not notified when a news item is deleted.
• After deletion the item is no longer visible in the app.
