Reporting a photo

Are you in a photo you would rather not see in the app? Or does a photo not belong there for another reason? Then report it. Any member who may view the album can do so.

Step 1: Open the album and click Report a photo

The button is in the top right, next to Back.

Step 2: Pick the photo

You see all photos in the album as thumbnails. Tap the one you mean; it gets marked.

Step 3: Say what is wrong

Choose a reason:

• I am in this photo — and you would rather not be.
• Inappropriate — the photo does not belong here.
• Something else.

You can add a short explanation. That helps the administrator, but it is not required.

Step 4: Report

Click Report. What happens next:

• The photo is hidden straight away. Other members no longer see it, and neither do you.
• The album's administrators get a message.
• They review the photo and either restore it or delete it permanently.

So you do not have to wait until someone has time: the photo is out of sight from the moment you report it.

For administrators: handling a report

If a report is open, you see the Reported photos block at the top of the album. Per report you see which photo it is, what the reason was and who reported it. You choose:

• Restore — the photo is visible again to everyone who may see the album.
• Delete — the photo goes permanently, including the original file.

The report itself is kept, even after the photo has been deleted. That way you can show later that the objection was handled.

Frequently asked questions

Do others see that I reported it? Only the album's administrators see your name. For other members the photo is simply gone.

Can I withdraw my report? Contact an administrator; they can restore the photo.

Why is the photo gone before anyone has looked at it? Because the other way round would not be fair: the photo would stay up for days after you said you want it gone. Hidden is also reversible; deleted is not.
