Seeing which customers are due for a visit

Your customer list is more than an address book: the filters let you find exactly the customers you ought to drop in on soon.

The example: who in Venlo hasn't been visited in a while

1. Open Customers and click the funnel icon at the top right. The number of active filters shows as a small count on the button.
2. Under Town/city, type "Venlo" and pick it from the suggestions. It becomes a chip; you can add several side by side.
3. Under Appointment, choose No appointment.
4. Under Last maintenance, choose Between dates and fill in only an Until date, for instance a year ago.
5. Click the Last maintenance column heading to put the longest-waiting customer at the top.

To see everyone who has never been visited at all, choose Never under Last maintenance.

The filters

All filters work together: you only get customers who meet every condition. Clear filters starts you over.

Filter	What it does
Search	Searches name, email address, company name and town. No need to press enter.
Appointment	All customers, With appointment, No appointment, Within 7 days or Today. Below that, Scheduled from/until lets you pick your own period — which may also lie in the past.
Town/city	Several towns at once, chosen from the towns that actually occur among your customers.
Last maintenance	Doesn't matter, Never, or Between dates (you may fill in just one of the two dates).
Type	All types, Private or Business.

The town filter matches the exact town name. If a customer has no town filled in, they will never appear in this filter.

Sorting

Every column heading is clickable; clicking again reverses the order. You can sort by Name, Type, Email, Town, Last maintenance and Appointment scheduled. By default the list is sorted by name, and that sorting uses the surname — not the first name you see at the front.

The list shows 25 customers per page; the total of your filtered result appears as a count next to the List tab.

Important: where those two columns come from

Last maintenance and Appointment scheduled come exclusively from the maintenance module:

• Last maintenance = the most recently completed maintenance visit.
• Appointment scheduled = the next maintenance visit from today onwards.

Ordinary calendar appointments and projects do not count here. If you were at a customer last week for a renovation, the Last maintenance column will still say "Never". If you don't work with maintenance contracts, both columns stay empty and the Search, Town and Type filters will be the most useful to you.

The same selection on the map

After filtering, click the Map tab: the same selection appears as pins and the map zooms in on the result automatically. That way you can see at a glance whether your visits are close together. See Viewing customers on the map.

Two differences from the list: the map shows the whole result at once (no pages), and customers whose location couldn't be found aren't on it — they are counted as "without location".

Good to know

• Your filters are not in the web address. So you can't forward a filtered list as a link or save it as a bookmark, and after refreshing the page you start with a clean list.
• There is no export of the customer list to Excel or CSV. The download button you see in the import screen is a blank template for importing customers, not your own data.
• Filtering by open quote, running project, assigned employee or "within 10 km" is not possible.

Frequently asked questions

• My customer says "Never" even though I was just there. Then it wasn't a completed maintenance visit but an ordinary appointment or a project. Only maintenance visits count in that column.
• I search for a town and get nothing. The town filter matches the exact spelling in your customer records. Pick it from the suggestion list rather than typing it out in full.
• Can I print this list or email it to an engineer? Not from this screen. What does work: filter the list, switch to the map and share the individual addresses, or ask Planny for an overview in the chat.
• Can I save my filter settings as my own view? No, saving filter sets isn't possible.
