Deleting a member or user

You delete a user when someone should no longer have access to your organisation in 4planning. Once deleted, that person loses access immediately.

Step 1: Go to Members

  1. Log in to your 4planning environment.
  2. Go to Organisation in the left-hand navigation bar.
  3. Click Members.

Step 2: Find and open the user

  1. Look up the user you want to delete.
  2. Use the search field to find them faster if needed.
  3. Click the user to open their profile.

Step 3: Edit the user

  1. Click Edit in the top right.

Step 4: Delete the user

  1. Click Delete in the top right.
  2. Confirm that the user may be deleted.

Once you confirm, this user no longer has access to your organisation in 4planning.

What happens after deletion?

  • The user loses access to the organisation immediately.
  • The user does not receive a notification that they have been removed.
  • Non-essential personal data is deleted.
  • Documents and messages in group chats are retained.

Tips for effective use

  • Delete users as soon as they leave the organisation.
  • Check beforehand that important information is stored safely.
  • Make sure someone else can take over any administrative tasks.

Good to know

  • Access is revoked immediately.
  • This action cannot be undone.
  • Historical communication and group data are retained.
