Viewing your training schedule

Updated on

At some clubs this feature isn't called "training" but "rehearsal", "lesson" or "practice" — the club picks the word itself, but it works the same everywhere. In this guide we use "training".

Opening your schedule

Open Trainings from the menu. You'll see a monthly calendar with a dot on every day that has a training session. Tap a day to see what's planned below it: name, time and location.

What the dots mean

  • Brand colour — a normal, planned session.
  • Grey, dimmed — a session that has already taken place.
  • Red — cancelled. The reason is shown on the session itself.
  • Yellow — something about this session changed since you last viewed it (a different time or location, for example).

Swiping and your next session

Swipe left or right (or use the arrows) to move to the previous or next month. If nothing is planned for the current day, you'll see a button to your next session that jumps straight to the right day.

Opening a session

Tap a session in the list below the calendar to see the details: who is expected, who has cancelled, and — once the time is right — the button to cancel your own attendance. See cancelling your attendance for a training.

Where the schedule comes from

A training date only appears in your schedule after an administrator has created and generated a training series (see creating a training series). You only see sessions for the groups you belong to, plus sessions you were added to individually.

Frequently asked questions

I don't see any sessions at all. You're probably not in any group linked to a training series, or no series has been generated yet. Ask your administrator to check.

Why is a session that has already happened still in the calendar? So you can look back at your recent schedule; it's dimmed to make the difference with upcoming sessions clear.

I see a session in yellow — what happened to it? Something about this session changed (its time or location, for example) since you last viewed it. Open the session to see what was adjusted; the yellow marker then disappears.

Can I get the schedule in my own calendar app? Yes, through the same calendar sync as the rest of 4planning — training sessions are included automatically.
