Buying or claiming a ticket
Does your organisation sell tickets for an event? Then you order them in the app itself. Paid or free: the ordering process is the same, only the payment step differs.
Step 1: Choose your tickets
- Open the event in the calendar.
- Find the Tickets card. It lists every ticket type that is available to you.
- Click + and − to set the number per type. The Total amount below the list updates as you go.
- Click Order.
Not seeing a ticket type? Then it is not visible to your role or group, the sales period has ended, or the type is sold out.
Step 2: Answer the questions (if there are any)
If the organiser has set up registration questions, the Additional Information window appears. Fill in the fields — questions marked with an asterisk are required — and click Checkout.
Step 3: Confirm your order
You land on Confirm tickets. Here you see the Order overview: the number and amount per ticket type, plus the service fee and the total.
Tick I accept the Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy and then click:
- Checkout (€ …) for a paid order;
- Claim tickets if the total is € 0.00.
Want to change something after all? Click Cancel — your places are released immediately and you can start over.
Step 4: Pay (paid tickets only)
You continue to the payment environment and choose your payment method there. After paying you automatically return to the app. Free tickets skip this step: they are ready as soon as you confirm.
What you get afterwards
Your tickets appear under My tickets, with the QR code that is scanned at the entrance. You also receive a confirmation email with your tickets as a PDF attachment, a button to view them online and — if your organisation has set that up — buttons to add them to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
Frequently asked questions
- How long are my places reserved? Thirty minutes from the moment you click Order. If you do not confirm within that time, the reservation lapses and the places become available to others again.
- Why do I have to confirm a free ticket too? Your tickets are only created at that moment, together with your acceptance of the terms. Until then it is just a reservation.
- What is the service fee? € 1.00 per paid ticket, on top of the ticket price. No service fee is charged on a free ticket.
- I paid but do not see my ticket yet. Refresh My tickets after half a minute; confirmation of the payment can be on its way. If it stays away, contact the organiser.
- Can I cancel a ticket after paying? Not yourself. Refunds are handled by the organiser of the event.
