Sharing bar shifts through a public link
Easily share bar shifts through a public link, so non-members — parents, for example — can also sign up.
What happens when you share a public link?
A public link makes bar shifts accessible to people outside your organisation. Through this link they can view the available shifts and sign up.
Step 1: Go to bar shifts
Go to the Bar shifts overview in the app.
Step 2: Activate the public link
Click Public link at the top.
Then click Allow to activate the public link.
Step 3: Share the link
Click Public link again.
You now see a unique link you can share.
- Copy the link
- Share it with parents, volunteers or external helpers, for example
Step 4: Signing up through the link
Through the public link, people can:
- View the available bar shifts
- Sign up for a shift
This works without them having to be a member of the organisation.
Why this is useful
- Involve non-members in bar shifts as well
- Increase the chance of full staffing
- Ideal for parents or external volunteers
Tips for effective use
- Share the link by WhatsApp, email or social media
- Give a clear explanation when you share the link
- Use this especially during busy periods or events
Good to know
- The link is unique to your organisation
- Anyone with the link can view the bar shifts
- You can put the link on your website so it is easy to find
- You can switch the public link off again at any time
