Sharing bar shifts through a public link

Bijgewerkt op

Easily share bar shifts through a public link, so non-members — parents, for example — can also sign up.

A public link makes bar shifts accessible to people outside your organisation. Through this link they can view the available shifts and sign up.

Step 1: Go to bar shifts

Go to the Bar shifts overview in the app.

Click Public link at the top.

Then click Allow to activate the public link.

Click Public link again.

You now see a unique link you can share.

  • Copy the link
  • Share it with parents, volunteers or external helpers, for example

Through the public link, people can:

  • View the available bar shifts
  • Sign up for a shift

This works without them having to be a member of the organisation.

Why this is useful

  • Involve non-members in bar shifts as well
  • Increase the chance of full staffing
  • Ideal for parents or external volunteers

Tips for effective use

  • Share the link by WhatsApp, email or social media
  • Give a clear explanation when you share the link
  • Use this especially during busy periods or events

Good to know

  • The link is unique to your organisation
  • Anyone with the link can view the bar shifts
  • You can put the link on your website so it is easy to find
  • You can switch the public link off again at any time
