Using seasons

A season is a named period with a start and end date. It's mainly an export tool: all events falling within those dates are automatically shown with the season, along with the complete attendance list.

What a season is and isn't

Worth knowing up front, because the name promises more than the feature delivers:

• It is: a period letting you quickly see and export all events and attendees for, say, "Season 2026/2027".
• It isn't: an administration that membership fees, bar shifts or matches are tied to. Those features know nothing about seasons.

Events aren't manually linked to a season either — the app simply looks at which events fall between the start and end date.

Creating a season

1. Go to Seasons (you need administrator rights for this).
2. Click Create season.
3. Fill in a name, start date and end date.
4. Save.

What you see in a season

Open a season and you get two overviews:

• Events — all events within the period, with a counter. Click through to an event, or export the whole list to Excel (including times, organisation, requirements, transport, costs, meeting point and your own extra fields).
• Attendance — who attended per event, including dietary preferences and allergies, plus the partners and guests who came along. This can be exported to Excel too.

That second list is where the feature proves its worth: it's the fastest way to get a catering overview or participant list for an entire season.

Editing or deleting a season

Open the season and use Edit or Delete at the top right. Deleting a season only removes the period settings — your events and attendance data remain intact.

Frequently asked questions

• I don't see Seasons in the menu. The feature must be enabled for your environment, and you need administrator rights; regular members are redirected away.
• An event isn't showing under my season. Check that the event's start date really falls between the season's start and end date — that's the only criterion.
• Can an event fall in two seasons? Yes, if the periods overlap the event appears under both. There's no exclusive link.
• Does a season count towards membership fees or bar shifts? No, those features are completely separate from it.
