Submitting your timesheet

Updated on

Under Timesheets you see your own hours per week. The key thing to know: you don't have to enter your hours again. What you put on a work order is already here.

Viewing your week

On the My week tab you navigate with Previous week and Next week, or jump back to the current week. At the bottom are the totals: hours, travel time, kilometres and expenses.

Alongside the hours from your work orders, you can add other types of hours:

  • Work
  • Travel
  • Internal / workshop
  • Leave
  • Sick

Submitting

Does your week look right? Submit it. After that the week is locked and you can't change anything yourself. The office can send the week back if something's wrong; then you can correct it and resubmit.

The status runs from Not yet submittedSubmittedSeenBooked. If the office sends your week back, you'll see the status Returned.

Exporting

With Export hours (CSV) you download your hours, for example for your own records.

Frequently asked questions

  • My hours from a work order appear twice. That can't happen: the timesheet shows the same hour rows as the work order, it doesn't add them again. If you see a duplicate, check whether you accidentally added the same hours manually.
  • I've submitted but something isn't right. Ask the office to send your week back; then you can edit it again.
  • Can I see a colleague's week? Administrators can view a staff member's week, but only the staff member themselves can edit their own week.
  • Where do I enter leave or sick days? Add a row with that hour type; that doesn't need to go via a work order.
