Viewing the league table
Under Standings you see the current league table for your club's teams. This page is read-only: the data comes straight from Sportlink and updates automatically.
What you see
The page is split into My teams (teams you're part of) and Other teams. If a team plays in multiple competitions, you can switch between them.
Per table you see the usual columns: position, team, played, won, drawn, lost, goal difference (for–against) and total points. At the bottom you see when the table was last updated, with a link to the team.
You only see competitions that are currently running. A competition that has finished — last season, or a cup round that has been played out — disappears from the row by itself, so you don't have to hunt through old tabs.
Step 1: viewing a different season
If your club has standings from more than one season, the Season picker appears in the top right. Choose an older season there and you'll see the final tables as they stood at the end of that season.
A blue notice then appears above the tables naming the season, so an old table can never be mistaken for the current one. Switch back to the current season and the notice disappears.
Teams that didn't exist yet in that season aren't listed. If there's only one season of data, the picker isn't there.
Step 2: the table between two seasons
During the summer break the new competition draw isn't available yet, but the old one is. A team then shows its last final table with the label Final table and the season next to it. As soon as Sportlink supplies the new group, the page moves to the new season by itself.
How often the table updates
At weekends the table is fetched every hour, on weekdays once a day in the evening. So you don't need to do anything or refresh — once a result is processed in Sportlink, the new table follows automatically.
Frequently asked questions
- It says "No standings available yet". Then no team is linked to Sportlink yet. That link is set up by the 4planning team; get in touch if your teams aren't linked yet. See also Linking and syncing Sportlink.
- My team is missing from the list. First check whether that team has a Sportlink team ID; without the link, the table can't be fetched. Also check whether you've selected an older season — then you only see the teams that played back then.
- A competition I saw yesterday has gone. It has finished. Sportlink no longer reports it as running, so it has moved to the season archive. The table hasn't been deleted: pick that season in the picker and it's there again.
- What order are the teams in? The same order as on the Groups page. An administrator can set that order there; see Creating and managing groups.
- The table doesn't match what I see on the federation site. The table is a copy from Sportlink. If it's correct there, wait for the next sync; if it's wrong there too, the correction needs to happen at the federation.
- Can I adjust a table myself or count a friendly? No. Manually added matches never count towards the league table.
- I don't see Standings in the menu. This part belongs to the matches feature and mainly appears for sports clubs.
