Referring other organisations and earning discount

Know another club, businessclub or company that would benefit from 4planning? Refer them with your personal link or code, and once they become a customer, you earn monthly discount on your own subscription. You'll find your referral page under Settings → Referrals.

Sharing your link and code

Step 1: Open your referral page

Go to Settings and click the Referrals tile. Here you'll find your personal share link and your own code, both with a copy button.

Step 2: Share the link

Send the link to the organisation you want to refer. They'll land directly on the 4planning start page and create their own (trial) app there — the link to you is recorded automatically at that moment.

Step 3: Did the link not work? Enter the code

Did the organisation sign up without using your link? Then they can enter your code on their own referral page, up to 30 days after that organisation itself became a customer. After that the window closes, and the link can only be made manually by 4planning support.

When does a referral count

A referral only counts once the referred organisation has become a paying customer — creating a trial environment alone isn't enough. If a referred organisation later stops, it also stops counting from that moment. Your discount adjusts automatically every month to match your current number of referrals.

Your discount can never be higher than your own monthly amount — with a lower invoice, the discount is therefore never more than what you pay yourself.

Becoming a 4planning ambassador

Refer ten organisations that become customers, and you become a 4planning ambassador. Your app is then free, you get recognition (for example your logo on our website) and a direct line with our team. You keep this status, even if one of your referrals later stops.

Frequently asked questions

• Can I see who I've referred? Yes, your referral page shows an overview with the name of every organisation and whether it currently counts.
• Can I refer myself to get discount? No. A referral from the same administrator, the same email address, or a clearly linked organisation is not recorded.
• Do I get the discount automatically on my invoice? Your discount is calculated every month and processed into your next invoice by our team.
• What if my link didn't work and the 30-day window has already closed? Contact 4planning support — in exceptional cases we can still make the link manually.
